Also, I'm not sure how obvious it is, but this idea is basically a visual metaphor of Elderly Apple's relationship (and mine, for that matter) with marker and colored pencil...and also with crayons. Crayons and I aren't so close. Yeah....

why do i have a feeling this is going to end up like the movie "carrie"? (except with red watercolors instead of pig's blood.)
