Also, in the future, architecture is impractical and showy (though they apparently still use wooden railings).

of course they use wooden railings! that way, when there's a bar fight, someone can be punched through the railing.

btw, what's up with rightward dude's eyes? future glasses?

No, the rightward dude is secretly the crowbar version of Cyclops.

Either that or he's got one of those headbands that tennis layers wear and it's slipped down over his eyes. O_o

It could be like Cyclops's ruby visor, but knowing Andrew, it's has to be a reference to Geordi LaForge from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Despite that, there is something very Star War-ish about today's episode.

Quite a paradox....

The future with all of its futuristic wonders run by one of the most basic, crude and simple hand tools ever devised, the rolled steel crowbar...

Just give me a thighbone to beat someone to death with and then throw it spinning high, high, high into the sky......
